i'm about to start putting a new film zine together but was wondering if anyone knew of any that already existed?

also, if u'd be interested in writing reviews/articles let me know. for the first issue we're gonna print around 1000 copies but also set up a web site...

I'd write for free, but if I had a chance to get paid; well, yeah! Is this magazine about movies in general? Making them? Indie films? Hollywood movies? What kind of articles are you looking for?

i want to make it completely free (if i can). but being realistic i guess i might have to charge a small amount to cover production costs. contriubutors would definitly get free subscription...

ok... well I definatly interested. Can you share some more info about the mag... like Phaethon asks....Is this magazine about movies in general? Making them? Indie films? Hollywood movies? whats audience are you aiming for? whats teh style of the mag... cool, stylish, cheeky, sexy, formal... what? [img]smile.gif[/img]

both movies and movie making. in theory we wanted reviews of indie movies but intelligent reviews of big budget hollywood movies would be cool too. i'm just sick of all the movie magazines i read at the moment, they **** up to the industry way too much and forget that they are supposed to be film critics. aswell as articles on film making(with cheap tips etc)and reviews which will include reviews of ALL tapes we get sent (if we get any at all),i'm trying really hard to get some interviews at the moment too.
